Bill Schuffenhauer – USA

Schuffenhauer found refuge in high school sports, particularly football and track and field. After transitioning to bobsledding, he made his first Winter Olympic Team in 2002, winning a silver medal, and is now competing in his third Games.

Next he will compete in the Four-Man Bobsled, February 26 (Fri) and February 27 (Sat).

Winter Olympics: Bobsledder Richard Adjei of Germany

Richard Adjei – Germany

Adjei won the Silver Medal in the 2 Man Bobsleigh on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.

Richard Adjei has been bobsledding for only three years. Adjei was a linebacker for NFL Europe. He is of German and Ghanaian heritage.

Next he will compete in the Four-Man Bobsled, February 26, Friday.

Winter Olympics: Timothy Beck, Bobsledder of the Netherlands

Timothy Beck - Netherlands

Beck competed in the Summer (2004, track and field) and Winter Olympic Games (2002). His had the honor of carrying the flag in the opening ceremonies because of his team-building qualities.

Next he will compete in the Four-Man Bobsled, February 26, Friday.

Winter Olympics: Canadian Bobsledder Lascelles Brown

Lascelles Brown is a Jamaican-born, Canadian bobsledder who has competed since 1999. In 1999-2004 he was with the Jamaican Bobsled team. At his second Olympic Games in 2006 he became the first Jamaican-born athlete to win a Winter Olympic medal (silver). He will compete on Saturday in the Four-man event.
